Unboxing | Fairyloot – Starcrossed Swoons

Jullie weten inmiddels wel dat ik gek ben op romantiek. Een box met als thema Starcrossed Swoons is dus op mijn lijf geschreven. Het is het thema van de september box van Fairyloot, die ik laatst binnenkreeg. Vandaag ga ik hem voor jullie unboxen, lees dus snel verder als je nieuwsgierig bent naar de inhoud.

Bella and Edward Candle

Fairyloot | Twilight by Stephanie Meyer is a big part of Young Adult fiction history, and Bella and Edward are such star-crossed lovers that we knew we had to include an item in this box inspired by them! We hope you love the exclusive Bella and Edward candle by Nerd Poured Candles.

Mijn mening | OMG! Deze kaars ruikt gewoon écht naar wat ik mij inbeeld bij die mooie rode appel uit Twilight. Heerlijk zoet en stevig. De kaars is ook van mooi formaat en passend afgewerkt met de rode en zwart/grijze confetti bovenop.

Prythian Shoelaces

Fairyloot | Another item we have never included before: shoelaces! The exclusive Prythian Shoelacdes feature all of the courts of Prythian from A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas and were designed by Fictiontea Designs. We knew we had to include all the courts on these shoelaces because the ACOTAR series has quite a few star-crossed lovers!

Mijn mening | Aan de ene kant ben ik mega enthousiast, want: hello origineel item van één van mijn favoriete fandoms! Aan de andere kant ben ik niet verliefd geworden op het ontwerp en ben ik bang dat ik deze veters niet snel zal gaan gebruiken.

Constellation Notebook

Fairyloot | Notebooks are always awesome! The exclusive Constellation Notebook features a quote from The Star-Touched Queen by Roshani Chokshi and was designed by Read at Midnight.

Mijn mening | Wauw, dit notitieboekje is echt supermooi (de quote en het ontwerp)! Doordat het oppervlak glimmend is, komen de kleuren nog mooier uit. Het enige jammere vind ik dat het niet gelinieerd is.

Dreamer Apron

Fairyloot | Another super unique item that we have never included before in any of our previous boxes is an apron! We hope you love the exclusive Dreamer Apron designed by Literary Life Co. It features a quote from Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. We know we’ll be wearing ours next time we bake cookies!

Mijn mening | Aaaah zo cool! Ik gebruik echt nooit een schort, maar met zo’n schort als dit, ga je er spontaan de hele dag in rondlopen haha. De kleuren komen echt supermooi uit, en het is natuurlijk hartstikke origineel.

Love Rune Enamel Pin & Angelic Fire Candle Matches

Mijn mening | Je kunt het op de foto niet goed zien, maar de enamel pin bevat in het witte deel prachtige mooie subtiele glitters. Hoewel ik nog helemaal geen megafan ben doordat ik de boeken nog niet heb gelezen, ben ik wel meteen verliefd op het ontwerp van deze pin. De lucifers zijn trouwens ook echt superschattig met paarse kopjes. Ze zijn trouwens echt megalang! Jammer is dat er niet zoveel in zitten en ze dus zo op zullen zijn.

Swoon-worthy Postcard Set

Fairyloot | We couldn’t put together a starcrossed swoons box without swoon-worthy art, so we partnered up with Taratjah to create the exclusive Swoon-worthy Postcard Set. The set includes exclusive artwork of Julian and Emma (The Dark Artifices), Rhysand and Feyre (ACOTAR), Cassian and Nesta (ACOTAR), Amar and Maya (The Star-Touched Queen), and Lazlo and Sarai (Strange the Dreamer).

Mijn mening | Oooh dit vind ik ook leuk! Vooral natuurlijk de twee kaarten van ACOTAR. Maar ik vind ook het artwork van Julian en Emma erg mooi, al ken ik de personages nog niet. Ik vind dit soort postcards eerlijk gezegd veel leuker dan van die grotere fan art kaarten. Deze kun je ook veel makkelijker ergens neerzetten of in een wandbord stoppen.

Mirage by Somaiya Daud

Fairyloot | Our book of the month is Mirage by Somaiya Daud. This gorgeous book is a Moroccan-inspired fantasy novel, where a girl’s survival depends on being the perfect body double to a cruel princess – expect allure, danger, disquises and swoon-worthy romance. This edition has an exclusive cover, sprayed edges, and is actually signed by the author! We hope you enjoy letter from Somaiya and the exclusive character art of Amani and Idris by Gabriella Bujdoso.

Mijn mening | Ik heb nog geen idee of dit boek wat voor mij is. Maar het boek ziet er prachtig uit, en er zit een swoon-worthy romance in, dus technisch gezien zou ik gebakken moeten zitten.

Bonus items

Fairyloot | Queen of Air and Darkness sampler, Tempests and Slaughter bookmark, Muse of Nightmares postcard.

Mijn mening | Deze items zijn wel leuk, maar niet perse bijzonder voor mij. Al vind ik de Muse of Nightmares postcard en de veer boekenlegger wel leuk.

Extra

Mijn mening | Er zat echter nog veel meer in de box. Waaronder een potje met Mal en Alina en daarin een nourishing cocoa & shea butter in hartvorm. Geen idee waarom dit niet genoemd is op de spoilerkaart. Natuurlijk vind je ook standaard de Fairyscoop in de box en jouw buddy hashtag. De brief was al genoemd bij het boek. Ook ben ik blij met de boekenlegger.

Het nagestuurde item

Ook ontving ik, zoals per mail aangekondigd, de theedoek, die in de The Power Within box had moeten zitten. Althans, hij zat er wel in, maar was niet goed gedrukt. Dus we zouden een nieuwe toegestuurd krijgen. En die zat dus in deze box. Ik ben er heel blij mee.

Conclusie

Deze box was zéér goed gevuld en met de meeste items ben ik ook erg blij. Tot nu toe ben ik dus zeker blij met mijn Fairyloot subscription. Volgende maand weer! 🙂
